International Desk: The European Union’s (EU) own navy and warships of the Indian Navy are monitoring the movements of the Bangladeshi ship MV Abdullah, which is under the control of Somali pirates. On the other hand, the pirates are making their position known by firing blank shots. They also planted anti-aircraft weapons on the hostage ship.

A family member of a hostage sailor informed the media on Friday (March 22).

He said that due to the shortage of fresh water on the ship, the sailors have to face the problem of using water. 30 to 35 armed pirates on round-the-clock guard on the ship have stepped up surveillance of the sailors. Currently, sailors are not allowed to stay in the cabin. In addition to the hardships of food, everyone has to use a toilet.

In one photo, two members of the EU Naval Force look on from the warship towards the MV Abdullah ship. The EU Naval Force deployed warships but did not report any operations.

A video image and three still images were released at EU Naval Force Ex. It can be seen that the warship deployed by the EU Naval Force Operation Atlanta is located a few nautical miles away from the hostage ship in Bangladesh. A helicopter from the warship was seen flying over the Bangladeshi hostages.

On March 12, the ship MV Abdullah of the Chittagong-based business company Kabir Group left for the United Arab Emirates after loading 55 thousand tons of coal from Mozambique. On the way, the ship fell into the hands of Somali pirates in the Indian Ocean.
