International Desk: Another 79 Palestinians were killed in the barbaric Israeli attack on the besieged Gaza territory of Palestine. With this, the total number of people killed in the valley has exceeded 34,250.

In addition, more than 77,000 Palestinians have been injured in this attack since last October. Anadolu news agency reported this information in a report on Wednesday (April 24).

Israel’s offensive in the besieged Gaza Strip continues, and at least 79 more Palestinians have been killed and 86 wounded in the past 24 hours, the region’s health ministry said on Wednesday.

Many people are still trapped under the rubble and on the streets as rescuers are unable to reach them, the ministry said.

According to the Palestinian Health Authority, Israel continues to invade the Gaza Strip in violation of a temporary ruling by the International Court of Justice. At least 34,262 Palestinians have been killed in this barbaric attack since October 7 last year. A large number of Palestinians killed were women and children. In addition, 77 thousand 229 people were injured in Israel’s indiscriminate attack.

It should be noted that since the unprecedented cross-border attack by Hamas on October 7, Israel has been carrying out continuous air and ground attacks on the Gaza Strip. Thousands of buildings, including hospitals, schools, refugee camps, mosques, and churches, have been damaged or destroyed in this Israeli attack. In addition, more than two million residents have been forced to leave their homes due to Israeli aggression.

60 percent of the infrastructure in the besieged territory has been damaged or destroyed. Thousands of people are living without any form of shelter, and fewer relief trucks are entering the region than are needed.

Israel has already been accused of genocide at the International Court of Justice. In an interim ruling in January of this year, the court ordered Tel Aviv to take measures to end its genocidal actions and guarantee the provision of humanitarian aid to civilians in Gaza.

According to Philippe Lazzarini, head of UNRWA, the United Nations agency for Palestinian refugees, famine in northern Gaza can only be averted through “meaningful and uninterrupted delivery” of aid.
