Dhaka Bureau: Jatiya Party (Japa) chairman and opposition deputy leader Golam Mohammad (GM) Quader has been suspended by the High Court. The judgment of the suspension was suspended by the Chamber court.
Jatiya Party (Japa) Chairman Ghulam Mohammad (GM) Quader will not be able to perform his duties.
Earlier, on Tuesday (November 29), a single bench of the High Court, Sheikh Abdul Awal, gave the order. As a result, there was no more obstacle for GM Quader to fulfill his party duties till January 3. Advocate Sheikh Muhammad Sirajul Islam heard on behalf of GM Quader in the court today.
Former MP Ziaul Haque Mridha filed a case against GM Quader on October 4 after being expelled from Jatiya Party. In the light of that case, the court ordered GM Quader to refrain from party activities. Dhaka Joint District Judge (First Court) Masudul Haque gave this order on October 31.
