Mirsrai Correspondent: BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia and Acting Chairman Tarek Rahman prayed for good health and long life, and an iftar ceremony was held in Mirsrai. On Monday (April 17), the Chief Guest spoke at the Iftar organized by the BNP and the organization of the upazila, Bariyarhat Town, and Mirsrai Town, along with the candidate who was nominated for Chittagong-1 Mirsrai Constituency in the last National Parliament Election, Chittagong North District BNP Joint Convener Nurul Amin Chairman.
Under the chairmanship of Didarul Alam Miazi, convenor of Bariarhat town BNP, and moderated by Mirsarai upazila BNP member secretary Gazi Nizam Uddin, Chittagong North district BNP joint convener Engineer Belayt Hossain was the main speaker. Chittagong North District BNP Joint Convenor Sarwar Alamgir, Sammilit Peshaji Parishad Convener Journalist Jahidul Karim Kochi, Volunteer Party Central Leader Shaukat Azam Khawaja, and Krishak Dal Central Co-Organizing Secretary Badrul Alam Badru spoke as special guests.

BNP, Chhatra Dal, and Juba Dal leaders of 16 unions and two municipalities were present at the prayer and iftar ceremony.
In the speech of the chief guest, Chairman Nurul Amin said that the country is going through a critical period today. The rise in commodity prices and the standard of living of common people have become a curse. People’s destiny will not change without the fall of ESRkar. He called upon all the leaders and activists to work together in the movement to bring down the government under the instructions of Begum Khaleda Zia and Tariq Rahman.
