Dhaka Bureau: There is no obstacle for GM Quader to fulfill his duties as Jatiya Party (JPA) chairman. The High Court stayed the lower court’s verdict.
A single High Court bench, led by Justice Muhammad Abdul Hafeez, passed the order while hearing GM Quader’s appeal against the lower court order on Sunday (February 5). Lawyer Muhammad Sirajul Haque was informed about the order.
Along with this, the High Court has also issued a ruling asking why the judgment of the lower court will not be finally annulled.
Earlier, the High Court suspended the order barring GM Quader from participating in any activities of the Jatiya Party for 8 weeks on January 19.
