Dhaka Bureau: BNP Standing Committee member Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury expressed his conviction that 27 points must be implemented and said that the people of the country should be clearly informed about the outline of 27 points announced by BNP in order to repair the state structure. He said this at a discussion meeting at Tafazzal Hossain Manik Mia Hall of National Press Club on Sunday (January 8) at noon.
Amir Khosru said, “We have to take 27 points to the people of the country. They must understand the requirements of Article 27. Because they want to know what will happen if the current government leaves? That is why we have outlined 27 points. These points are part of our movement. Through this, Bangladesh of the future will be built.
Commenting that there is no alternative to 27 points to bring the country out of a deep hole, he said, ‘If 27 points are not implemented, the country will not move in the right direction. It will not be possible to manage the state. These 27 points must be implemented for the sake of the country and the people. By announcing this outline, Tariq Rahman has taken his skills and qualifications to unique heights in the world.
Commenting on the importance of health for a welfare state, Amir Khosru said, ‘1 percent of GDP is not used in the health sector. Because there is more government corruption here. As a result, the people of the country have to spend their own money for treatment, which is worse than Afghanistan. It is important to hold seminars on these issues across the country. Because, when a family is given healthcare, its primary prevention starts. If a family can save 5 thousand rupees, the purchasing power of that family will increase. With that money you can spend on your children’s education. Can invest in the development of the country.
Political science professor Dr. Dilara Chowdhury said, “There is a need to discuss the outline of the state structure repair of BNP. The demands of the public are outlined in this outline. The outline of the state structure repair announced by the BNP is a charter of liberation for the helpless people of the country.
