Rangpur Representative: Jatiya Party’s nominee Mostafizar Rahman Mostafa has won the Rangpur City Corporation (RASIK) election with huge votes. He was declared the winner after the announcement of private results on Tuesday (December 27) night.

Mostafizar Rahman Mostafa, Jatiya Party (Langal): One lakh 46 thousand 798 votes. Amiruzzaman Piyal, Islami Andolan Bangladesh (Hatpakha): 49 thousand 892 votes. Latifur Rahman Milon, rebel candidate of Awami League (Hati): 33 thousand 883 votes. Hosne Ara Lutfa Dalia, Awami League (Boat): 22 thousand 306 votes.
With this, he is going to sit in the seat of Rangpur City Mayor for the second time. On the other hand, against Mustafa, Awami League supported mayoral candidate Hosne Ara Lutfa Dalia came fourth by getting 124,492 less votes.
