Dhaka Bureau: BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir issued a warning to the government and said, wait for what you will see in Dhaka on December 10, you will see with your own eyes. BNP is adamant to hold a rally in Nayapaltan on December 10.
He said this at BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia’s political office in Gulshan on Thursday (December 8).
Mirza Fakhrul complained and said that law enforcement forces carried bombs in cement bags and left them at the BNP office. Later they staged a drama in the name of retrieving the bomb from the BNP office. The monthly subscriptions and bank check books given to party members were taken from the BNP office. The doors of various rooms in the office were broken.
After the clash in Nayapaltan on Wednesday, the police raided the BNP office at night. After the raid, 160 sacks of rice, khichuri, cooking materials and 15 unexploded bombs were recovered from the BNP office.
