The Crime Desk: The President of Bangladesh Muslim Nikah Registrar Welfare Association, Kazi Mamunur Rashid, has called for the reform of the state at the grass-roots level by restoring the judicial power of the Qazis. He said this at an exchange meeting held at Hotel 71 in Vijaynagar of the capital on Saturday.
Kazi Mamunur Rashid said if the social justice system is established through the Qazis, the state reform will be completed from the grass roots. Kazis can play an important role in establishing justice and loyalty in the society.
Maulana Kazi Abul Hossain, general secretary of the association and general secretary of the Nationalist Ulamaye Dal, was present as the main speaker on the occasion. He said that if BNP comes to power, there will not be any kind of hindrance in the activities of the kajis. The Kazis will also play an active role in the reform of the state under the leadership of the national leader, Tariq Rahman.
In addition, the association’s executive president, Principal Maulana Dr. Other leaders of the organization, including Golam Kibria and Senior Vice President Maulana Kazi Muhammad Nasir Uddin Helali, also addressed the meeting.
