The Crime Desk: Awami League has given two directives in the ongoing situation in the country, including asking the party leaders and activists to seek legal protection. This instruction was given through a post on the party’s verified Facebook page on Tuesday (September 17).
It is said that the information search team of the United Nations Human Rights Commission is now in Bangladesh. They will collect and maintain confidentiality of all incidents that occurred from July 1 to August 15.
It is said in the instructions: urgent instructions to the leaders and activists of the Awami League and allied organizations and their families; Write down the details of torture, murder, vandalism, looting, and arson that happened to you or your family. 1. File a complaint at the police station; 2. If you don’t want to complain, do a general diary.
It also said that if the general diary is not allowed, we will make a complaint to the UN investigative team as a party.
Besides, investigation and trial of all incidents are demanded.
