The Crime Desk: Bangladesh Jatiyatabadi Dal (BNP) has demanded elections after 3 phases of interim government formation. Secretary General of the party Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir made this demand in a rally organized in Nayapaltan of the capital on Wednesday (August 7).
Immediately after the start of the rally, a minute’s silence was observed in memory of the students and political activists killed in the anti-discrimination student movement.
BNP Standing Committee member Selima Rahman spoke at the beginning of the rally chaired by BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul. Acting Chairman of BNP Tariq Rahman spoke as the chief guest in the rally.
