Dhaka Bureau: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has said that Zia is a murderer, Khaleda is a murderer and Tarek is a murderer in the speech of the chief guest at the Sixth National Conference of Women’s Awami League, one of the subsidiary organizations of Awami League. He said, “Women’s rights must be protected in all cases. I gave special privileges to women. Khaleda has closed. Khaleda thought that everyone would vote on the boat, so she stopped everything. Women have the benefit of no treatment. The Awami government has made a provision for 60 percent women in primary school teacher recruitment.
He said this at the Prime Minister’s address at the historic Suhrawardy Udyan on Saturday (November 26) afternoon.
He also said, “Working women’s hostels will be created at the district-upazila level”.
He said, “There is special provision for women in every field. In every family, houses are allotted to men as well as women. Women are advancing in all fields.
Earlier in the morning, the leaders and activists gathered at the conference venue with a procession from different parts of the country. Banners, placards and festoons of women leaders covered Suhrawardy Udyan and the surrounding area.
After the inaugural session, the top two leaders of the organization will be elected in the council session. The councilors will delegate the power of selecting the leadership to Awami League President Sheikh Hasina. At the same time, Dhaka Metropolitan North and South Committees may also be announced.
Mahila Awami League was founded on February 27, 1969. Women’s Awami League is the largest organization of women in politics in Bangladesh. Those who will come to the leadership of this organization will have to deal with the situation during the next parliamentary elections.
