Dhaka Bureau: Hefazet Islam Bangladesh has announced three programs with seven demands for the release of all arrested leaders and activists and the withdrawal of false cases. The organization has warned of a strict program if the leaders and activists are not released and the cases are not withdrawn by November 30.
This announcement was made at a conference at the Engineers Institution auditorium in the capital on Wednesday, October 25. Secretary General of Hefazat Maulana Sadiqur Rahman read the declaration of the Ulama Mashaikh Conference under the chairmanship of Amir Allama Shah Muhibbullah Babunagari of Hefazat Islam.
It was informed in the conference that the Shane Resalat conference will be held in Chittagong, Sylhet, Brahmanbaria, Narayanganj, and Gazipur by December 31. Within the next 3 months, district, upazila, and metropolitan committees of Hefazat Islam will be formed across the country.
The declaration strongly condemned the attack by Zionist Israel in Palestine and the indiscriminate killing of innocent women, children, and men. Along with that, it is said to cut off all relations with Israel.
7 claims of Hefazat Islam
1. The Zionist illegitimate terrorist state of Israel has crossed the ultimate line of brutality with indiscriminate attacks, continuous persecution, and massacres of Palestinian Muslims. These invading occupation forces continue to commit human rights violations in Gaza, killing thousands of children, women, and civilians. Therefore, today’s conference strongly calls on all countries in the world, including Bangladesh, to immediately stop Israeli attacks on innocent Palestinians, cut all diplomatic relations with Israel, boycott all their products, and boycott them commercially.
2. Maulana Mamunul Haque, Finance Secretary Mufti Munir Hossain Kasemi, Mufti Fakhrul Islam, Maulana Rafiqul Islam Madani, and many other scholars have been in jail for almost three years in false and fabricated cases. They have been imprisoned by the government for such a long time on false and concocted cases. Today’s conference strongly demands the government release all the imprisoned leaders and activists by November 30.
3. All false cases filed in the name of Hefazat Islam leaders and activists since 2013 must be withdrawn immediately.
4. All levels of clerics and tawhid people are called to unite in preventing all evil forces against Islam, protecting the freedom and sovereignty of the country, and establishing the rights of oppressed humanity.
5. Allah, Rasul SAW. And the law should be passed in the national parliament with the provision of maximum punishment to prevent insults to Islam and slander against Muslims.
6. The official announcement of Qadianis as non-Muslims and all their propaganda and conspiratorial activities must be stopped.
7. According to the traditional Fatwas of Darul Uloom Deoband, the various statements of Maulana Saad Sahib of India are contradictory, extremely controversial, and based on his fabricated thoughts. Therefore, the arrival of Maulana Saad Sahib in Bangladesh should be banned permanently. The Ulamaye Keram should be given priority assistance in the overall management of Tongir Vishwa Ijtema under the supervision of Shurai Nezam. In this case, no new situation can be allowed to be created. Today’s conference strongly demands that the government take effective steps in this regard.
Program of Hefazat Islam
1. The release of all jailed leaders and activists by November 30, and all false cases filed in the name of custody leaders, should be withdrawn immediately. Otherwise, a strict program will be announced.
2. Within the next 3 months, district, upazila, and metropolitan committees of Hefazat Islam will be formed across the country.
3. The Shane Resalat conference will be held in Chittagong, Sylhet, B. Baria, Narayanganj, and Gazipur by December 31. It will be held in all other districts in phases.
