Dhaka Bureau: Leaders and activists of the Awami League and its organs and organizations have started gathering to attend the peace and development rally of the Awami League. In the meantime, hundreds of activists have gathered there.
Awami League leaders and activists started gathering in front of the capital’s Engineers Institution at noon on Tuesday (July 18). In no time, they will leave for the gathering place, Dhanmondi No. 32. Obaidul Quader, Minister of Road Transport and Bridges and general secretary of the party, will be present as the chief guest at the Awami League rally organized ‘against BNP-Jamaat’s terrorism, militancy, anarchy, apathy, and continued anti-national conspiracy’.
Alhaj Abu Ahmed Mannafi, president of the Dhaka Metropolitan South Awami League, will preside over the rally, as will general secretary Alhaj Md. Humayun Kabir. The Dhaka Metropolitan South Awami League has organized this rally.
