Bijan Kumar Biswas: Police arrested two sellers along with Yaba in Qutubdia. Those arrested were sent to jail through the court on Thursday.
Qutubdia police station OC Mohammad Mizanur Rahman told The Crime that on Wednesday night, professional drug dealer Md Ismail (47), son of Zafar Ahmed of Dhurungkacha village in South Union, and Md Zainal Prakash Shunu (41), son of deceased Abdul Karim of Nayapara area of the same union, came to the police station after receiving information about the sale of Yaba pills secretly. A team of police including SI Sujan Das conducted a raid near Dhurung High School Stadium and arrested two people. 40 peach yaba pills were recovered from them.
A case has been registered against them under the Narcotics Control Act, said the OC.
