On Sunday (November 6) at noon in front of the BNP central office in Nayapaltan, acting chairman of the party Tarek Rahman and his wife Dr. He said these things in a rally organized by Juba Dal against the issuance of arrest warrant against Zobayda Rahman.
The formalities of the assembly started from 2 o’clock. From 12 noon, leaders of Jubo Dal from different districts including Dhaka metropolis gathered in the rally with banners and festoons. They started chanting slogans demanding the release of Khaleda Zia and other leaders and the withdrawal of the arrest warrant of the Tariq Rahman couple. Thousands of leaders and workers of Gazipur, Manikganj, Narayanganj, Narsingdi, Munshiganj youth parties are seen gathering in the rally.
Under the chairmanship of Jubo Dal President Sultan Salahuddin Tuku, General Secretary Abdul Monayem Munnar, Dhaka Metropolitan South Convenor Abdus Salam, Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, Joint Secretary General Syed Moazzem Alal, former Chhatra Dal President Fazlul Haque Milan, former Jubo Dal President Saiful Islam Nirav, Publicity Secretary among others. Shahid Uddin Chowdhury Annie, Samajseva Secretary Kamruzzaman Ratan and others spoke.
Fakhrul said, false cases have been filed against 25 lakh activists of BNP, cases have been filed in the ongoing movement to save democracy, and they have been killed. Where can we hold back? Couldn’t and won’t. He said, the people of the country will bring back Tariq Rahman in the guise of victory. They will free Khaleda Zia.
