Dhaka Bureau: The BNP will hold a sit-in program today in districts and cities across the country to demand the implementation of 10 points, including gas and electricity, an increase in commodity prices, and to protest against the corruption of the Awami League government. The party announced this information through a press release on Friday, March 31.
It is said that a sit-in program will be held in front of Ramner Engineers Institution today (Saturday) from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on the initiative of Dhaka Metropolitan North and South BNP. BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir will be the chief guest in the program.
The media cell of the BNP informed that this program will be held in front of the Vijay Nagar water tank under the banner of the 12 Party Alliance at 11:30 am as part of the simultaneous movement. Apart from this, the Labor Party will be in front of the National Press Club from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.; the Social Democratic Party will be at the Paltan intersection from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.; Gana Odhikar Parishad will be in front of the National Press Club at 3:00 p.m.; the LDP will be in front of the LDP office adjacent to the Kauranbazar FDC from 3:00 p. On the other hand, this program will be held from 4 to 5 p.m.
The circular also said that the anti-government political parties, including the BNP, will hold this position to implement a 10-point program, including Awami terrorism, repression of the government, mass arrests, torture, the release of royal prisoners, including Khaleda Zia, and the reduction of prices of daily necessities, including electricity, gas, and fuel.
