Dhaka Bureau: BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia will go to Evercare Hospital in the capital this afternoon for her health check-up. BNP media cell member Shayrul Kabir Khan confirmed the matter on Monday morning (February 27).
Khaleda Zia’s personal physician and BNP Vice-Chairman Dr. Quoting AZM Zahid Hossain, he said that the BNP Chairperson will be taken to the hospital after three o’clock in the afternoon. Khaleda Zia will be taken to the hospital today as part of a regular checkup on the advice of the medical board.
Khaleda Zia went to Ever Care Hospital for a health check-up on August 22 last year. He is undergoing treatment for various diseases, including decompensated liver disease.
The former prime minister suffered a heart attack last year, and a stent was placed in his heart. He has low hemoglobin levels, diabetes (polyuria), and chronic kidney disease. He also has arthritis.
