Dhaka Bureau: The BNP will hold a meeting with the top leaders of the nationalist-minded alliance in the afternoon. The meeting will be held on Monday, January 30, at 4 p.m. in Gulshan, the capital.
Shamsuddin Didar and Shairul Kabir Khan, members of the BNP chairperson’s media wing, confirmed the matter.
It is said that BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, Liaison Committee member and National Standing Committee member Nazrul Islam Khan, Begum Selima Rahman, Vice Chairman Mohammad Shahjahan, and Abdul Awal Mintu will be present in the meeting.
NPP chairman Dr. Fariduzzaman Farhad, Jagpa president Khandkar Lutfar Rahman, and alternative chairman Professor Dr. Nurul Amin Bepari are among the leaders of the like-minded alliance, as are Gana Dal chairman ATM Golam Mawla Chowdhury, Samyavadi Dal general secretary Comrade Dr. Syed Nurul Islam, NAP chairman Azharul Islam, Bangladesh Muslim League general secretary Nasim Khan, Bangladesh NAP chairman MN Shaun Sad
Last December, the National People’s Party led the 11-party “Nationalist Like-minded Alliance.”
