Patia Correspondent: Vice-President of Central Democratic Party and former chairman of Dhalghat Union of Patia Upazila veteran politician Tajur Mulluk passed away.
He breathed his last at Patia’s residence at around 10 am on Saturday. (Inna lillahi…Rajioon). He was 88 years old. He is survived by his wife, 3 sons and 1 daughter.
Tajur Mulluk’s nephew Master Shahidul Islam told the media that he had an operation on his throat a few days ago. Besides, he was suffering from various diseases related to old age. He died at his son’s house in Patia Sadar around 10 am on Saturday. He will be buried in the family cemetery after the Janaza at Dhalghat Makut Night High School ground after Maghrib on Saturday.
Brave freedom fighter Tajur Mulluk was associated with student union politics during his student life. He was the Vice-President of the Central Committee of the Democratic Party until his death. Tajur, who played a leading role in all democratic movements and struggles, was also associated with the National Committee for Protection of Mulluk Oil Gas Power Port.
