Three mobile companies have to pay Rs. 2500 crores

Dhaka Bureau: The Appellate Division has ordered that the three mobile operator companies Grameenphone, Banglalink and Robi will have to pay Tk 2,500 crores due to their debts. The government, National Board of Revenue (NBR) and Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) have to pay this amount.

On Tuesday (January 10), a 5-judge appellate bench headed by Chief Justice Hasan Faiz Siddiqui passed the order.

Attorney General AM Amin Uddin on behalf of the government, Barrister Reza-e Rakib on behalf of BTRC and Barrister Mostafizur Rahman Khan on behalf of the mobile company heard in the court.

Attorney General AM Amin Uddin told reporters about the order.
