Dhaka Bureau: Former BNP Standing Committee member, now Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) President Colonel (retd) Oli Ahmad visited the party’s central office in Nayapaltan for the first time after leaving BNP.
On Tuesday (December 13) morning, Ali Ahmad visited the affected BNP office.
During the visit of Oli Ahmad BNP office, LDP Joint Secretary General Salahuddin Razzak and other senior leaders of LDP were present with him. BNP’s Nazrul Islam Khan, Imran Saleh Prince and other leaders were present at this time.
Looking at the overall condition of the BNP office, criticizing the police operation on December 7, Ali Ahmad said that the incident of attack, vandalism and looting of the BNP office is condemnable. In this regard, a judicial inquiry committee should be made to bring the responsible under the law and legal action should be taken against the responsible. Those who destroyed Ziaur Rahman’s mural should be tried on the soil of Bengal. I strongly condemn the attack on BNP office.
It is to be noted that earlier in 2014, Khaleda Zia went to a rally of 20 party alliance in front of BNP central office in Nayapaltan, but she did not enter inside.
