Nagar Reporter: Hundreds of shops lining Hazari Gali, the city’s largest wholesale market for medicines and gold, have been opened. As a result, some relief has returned, but the fear has not subsided in the minds of the locals. Today Thursday (November 07) in the morning, in the presence of members of the joint forces, the seals on the shops were removed one by one. Leaders of shopkeepers and business associations were also present at that time.

Businessmen say that they are relieved after the shops have opened. The last two days of decline in sales, but it has started normalizing since noon. They want to punish only those who are really guilty in the incident of excessive attack by the law and order forces in Hazari Gali.

Lieutenant Colonel Ferdous Ahmed, spokesperson of Task Force-4 on behalf of the joint forces, said, “It is difficult to say so quickly that it is actually related to a specific organization.” We are looking into it, so far we have not found the affiliation of any specific organization. We are still in the identification process. Only after identification will it be possible to say who or who were inside it.

Note that a few days ago a Facebook user of Hazari Gully shared a photo card. There were ‘ugly’ comments about ISKCON. Osman Gani, the owner of Molla Store, Mia Shopping Center, Hazari Gali, shared the post with the photo card on his Facebook profile last Tuesday (05 November).

Angered by that post, around 4 pm on the same day, when a group of locals asked him in that shop, his followers attacked the Sanatani. Police and army personnel went to the spot after receiving the news of the incident.

At that time, the angry people demanded that the postman should hand over the person to them. But when the police rescued him and took him into custody, the angry people attacked the law and order forces. At one point, the attackers clashed with the law enforcement forces.

After that, the joint forces conducted an operation to arrest those involved until approximately 11 o’clock that night. Law enforcement forces have arrested 49 people in the incident till Wednesday night. A case was filed against them and handed over to the court.
