Khagrachari Correspondent: BNP terrorists are creating anarchy in Khagrachari hill district like the rest of the country with death threats, lying, defamatory and misleading propaganda to Awami League leaders and activists against BNP. Khagrachari District Awami League has held a press briefing against the death threats, lies, defamatory and misleading propaganda against Khagrachari District Awami League deputy office secretary journalist Nurul Azam by BNP. These allegations were made in the press conference organized by the District Awami League at the party office on Tuesday (October 25) morning.

Khagrachari District Awami League Vice President Kalyan Mitra Barua, General Secretary and Mayor of Khagrachari Nirmlendu Chowdhury, Organizational Secretary Didarul Alam Didar, PAJP member Partha Tripura Jewel, Office Secretary Chandan Kumar Dey, Deputy Office Secretary Nurul Azam and numerous leaders and activists were present. Referring to the BNP’s press briefing as a lie, the Awami League described the incident as saying, “On October 19th, on the way home, a cadre of the BNP deliberately tried to kill District Awami League Deputy Office Secretary Nurul Azam on the street of the house behind the Law Office Building. At that time Khagrachari District BNP President Wadud Bhuiyan, General Secretary MN Abshar, Mangsathwai Marma, Sramik Dal leader Ratan Tripura, Badsha Mia attacked 30/35 people using unspeakable language. In this incident, journalist Nurul Azam’s family is suffering from insecurity. Before this, on the night of October 12, a cocktail attack was carried out on the journalist’s house on that road.
