Incidentally, Sheikh Hasina fled the country to India after resigning from the post of Prime Minister on August 5 due to the student movement. Since then, cases are being filed against Awami League leaders and activists, including Sheikh Hasina, in various parts of the country in connection with the deaths of students in the movement.
