Dhaka Bureau: The 30th National Conference of Awami League’s fraternal organization Bangladesh Chhatra League will be held on December 6. Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader confirmed this information on Sunday.
Earlier, the date for the conference was fixed on December 3, but it was postponed on the orders of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. At that time, various related sources said that Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina was about to visit Japan. However, the tour was later postponed. The Prime Minister was supposed to return from that visit on December 3. For that, the BCL conference to be held on December 3 was postponed.
After that, it was informed that a two-day conference of Chhatra League will be held on December 8 and 9. This information was revealed on November 20 in a press release signed by the office secretary of the organization, Indranil Dev Sharma Roni. Meanwhile, Awami League general secretary Obaidul Quader said on Sunday that the BCL conference will be held on December 6.
