This rally in Comilla is being held today Saturday as a part of BNP’s mass rally in all sections of the country to demand the increase in prices of daily commodities and fuel oil, the death of activists in police firing and the release of BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia and elections under a non-partisan government.
This divisional rally is being held on the initiative of five branches of BNP in Comilla (Comilla South, Comilla North and Metropolitan Branch), Chandpur and Brahmanbaria districts at the Comilla Town Hall ground. This is BNP’s eighth divisional mass meeting. The general secretary of the party Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir will address the gathering as the chief guest. Local and central leaders will address the rally under the chairmanship of Comilla South District BNP convener Amin Ur Rashid Yachin.
