The Crime Desk: In connection with the murder of Jhenaidah-4 Constituency Member of Parliament (MP) Anwarul Azim Anna, a breath-taking operation is underway in various parts of Kolkata to find the body parts. Almost 15 days after the clueless murder, chunks of meat were recovered from a septic tank at Sanjiba Gardens in Newtown on Tuesday (May 28). But Anar’s daughter, Mumtarin Ferdous Doreen, is being taken to Kolkata to confirm whether it is the mutilated body of MP Anar. Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Intelligence Branch Chief Harun Or Rashid gave this information on Tuesday (May 28).
Mumtarin Ferdous Doreen, MP Anar’s daughter, said that she came to know that pieces of meat were recovered from the flat’s septic tank. But the police did not confirm whether the fragment belonged to the father. For this, you may have to go to Kolkata to give the DNA test sample.
He said, I have an Indian visa. If the Calcutta police call, I will go there to give a sample for a DNA test. I want justice for the murder of my father. Those who are accused should be brought to trial with severe punishment. The prime minister nominated my father five times because he was a popular person. Opponents have stepped up to divert the trial of the father’s murder.
On Tuesday (May 28) night, Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Intelligence Branch Chief Harun Or Rashid informed that it is not possible to identify the body as soon as possible without bringing someone from MP Azim’s family to Kolkata. Her daughter, Doreen, has already been informed. Doreen and MP’s brother may come to Calcutta in a day or two.

Harun said several pieces of meat were recovered from the septic tank. These meats are kept for forensics. A DNA test will also be done. Then it can be said whether these are new parliaments.
He further said that we will go to the Kolkata CID office on Wednesday (May 29) morning. The recovery of body parts must be officially confirmed. It is not possible to say that it belongs to a Member of Parliament without a DNA test. We confirm first. Then someone related by blood will be called to Kolkata for a DNA test.
