Dhaka Bureau: On the occasion of International Workers’ Day, the National Labor Party will hold a labor rally in Nayapaltan, the capital. After the rally, a colorful labor procession will start from Nayapaltan in the capital and end in front of the National Press Club.
The party will hold this rally at Nayapaltan in the capital on Wednesday, May 1, at 3 p.m..
Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi Ahmed, Senior Joint Secretary General of BNP, has expressed the hope of a huge gathering in Nayapaltan.
BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, along with top leaders and labor leaders, will be present at the labor party rally. The police commissioner of Dhaka has already been informed about the program.
According to BNP party sources, the target attendance of at least 20,000 leaders and activists from Dhaka North and South has been taken to hold a workers’ rally. For this reason, the party has held preparatory meetings for the last two weeks with the two metropolitan areas of Dhaka and the districts of Dhaka division. It is also said that due to the intense heat, plans have been made to wrap up all the arrangements for the rally within two to two and a half hours.
