Dhaka Bureau: Awami League leaders and activists are standing in front of the Bangabandhu Avenue office of the capital on the second day of the blockade called by the opposition parties to demand the next elections under a non-partisan government after bringing down the government.
From Wednesday morning (November 1), the leaders and activists of organizations including the Awami League, Jubo League, Volunteer League, and Matsyajeevi League are continuing this program to protest the blockade of BNP.
Apart from Bangabandhu Avenue, Awami League leaders and workers are on alert in different areas of the capital. They said that they are in the field on the instructions of the Center to “provide security of life and property from terrorism and anarchy” at BNP.
Meanwhile, Awami League leaders and workers have been seen staying in different areas of Dhaka North and South City, divided into groups at every turn, since Tuesday morning.
On the other hand, members of the law and order forces were also seen taking a cautious stance.
