Dhaka Bureau: The BNP is marching today for the second day, demanding the re-establishment of a non-partisan, neutral government along with the resignation of the current government. Leaders and activists flocked to the padayatra program that started in Abdullahpur, the capital.
The leaders reached the airport area around noon on Wednesday (July 19). Already, the airport road is full of people. Leaders and activists are chanting anti-government slogans. The entire area is covered with posters, festoons, and banners. The march started from Abdullahpur at around 11 a.m.
The walk will end at the Jatrabari Chowrasta area. Earlier in the morning, leaders and activists started gathering in front of Abdullahpur’s Paulway Market to participate in the march. They held a short rally in front of the market. It has been reported that the march will end in front of Abdullahpur Paulway Market, Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport, Kuril Bishwa Road, Newbazar, Badda, Rampura Bridge, in front of Abul Hotel in Malibagh, passing through Khilgaon, Basabo, Mugda, Sayedabad, and ending at Jatrabari Crossroads. BNP marched from Gabtali in the capital to the Raisaheb Bazar intersection on Tuesday.
On this day, like-minded political parties marched in Dhaka.
