Dhaka Bureau: BNP’s march program has started to demand the one-point resignation of the government. On Tuesday (July 18), around 11:30 a.m., the march started from Gabtali to Raisaheb Bazar intersection. At this time, a severe traffic jam was created in Salehpur, Aminbazar, the gateway to Dhaka. Common passengers have suffered.

Passengers stuck in the traffic jam said, ‘From Gabtali to Salehpur Bridge, the traffic jam was created for about one and a half kilometers. The car has been standing at the same spot for almost an hour.

Life is boring in summer traffic.’ Dhaka District North Traffic Inspector (Administration) Hossain Shahid Chowdhury said, ‘BNP’s march has been going on in Gabalti since morning. Therefore, there is a traffic jam in Aminbazar on the Dhaka-bound lane of the road.

Savar Model Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Deepak Chandra Saha said, ‘No checkposts have been set up, but police are on the highway to strengthen security.’
