Crime Reporter: Chiringa Highway Thana police arrested a bus passenger along with 1528 piece Yaba at Chakria, Cox’s Bazar. Today, Saturday (June 24) at 3:30 p.m., he was arrested from the target area of Cox’s Bazar-Chittagong highway.
Abdur Rashid (28) of South Gaubinderkhil area under Patia police station was arrested.
Officer-in-charge of Chiringa Highway Police Station SI Khokon Kanti Rudra arrested the bus passenger along with officers and forces on a tip-off that the A-line passenger bus was carrying drugs on the Chittagong-bound lane of the Cox’s Bazar-Chittagong highway.
Meanwhile, his body was searched and 1528 pieces of Yaba were recovered.
