Dhaka Bureau: The Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) arrested four Jamaat leaders, including a lawyer. They were arrested when they went to the DMP with an application to seek permission to hold the protest program on June 5.
On Monday (May 29), around 4:30 PM, DMP went to the office.
It should be noted that to prevent the increase in commodity prices, the Amir of Jamaat Dr. Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Dhaka Metropolitan Branch has called a protest march from the north gate of National Mosque Baitul Mukarram at 3 p.m. on Monday, June 5, demanding the release of Shafiqur Rahman and other national leaders and ulama and the establishment of a caretaker government system.
