city reporter: CMP Bandar police station raided the iron door of the motor parts godown and arrested 4 thieves including the mastermind of the motor parts theft incident and recovered the stolen motor parts goods worth Tk 10 lakh. On Thursday (May 04) under the city’s Doublemooring Police Station, Dewanhat Nawab Community Center Galistha Noor Mumtaz Tower ground floor shop named Silver Trade was able to recover motor parts estimated to be worth 10 lakh rupees.
The arrested are Md. Abul Hossain, Md. Omar Farooq, Md. Anwar Hossain and Abdur Rahman.
According to the statement of the case, between 11:00 PM on May 2nd and 10:00 AM on May 3rd, on the south side of Barapukur Par MA Aziz Mosque under Bandar Thana, from inside the godown named SS Automobiles, owned by Samchuddin and Abu Sufian, located in Munir Nagar Chouchala, towards the back of the godown. Unknown thieves cut the iron door and stole motor parts worth three lakhs.
In this incident, the owner of the godown filed a regular case at the CMP Bandar police station. In view of that case, under the leadership of Officer-in-Charge of Bandar Police Station Sanjay Kumar Sinha, investigating officer SI Md. Faisal Sarwar along with his fellow officers and forces conducted a raid in Bandar and Doublemooring Police Station area of the city on the basis of secret information and arrested Md. Abul Hossain, Md. Omar Farooq, Md. Anwar Hossain and Abdur Rahman. do
