Dhaka Bureau: Two agencies have disappeared with Hajjatri money. As a result, the Hajj journey of 468 people registered for Hajj through these two agencies has become uncertain. Among the two agencies, ‘Al Risan Travels’ took money from 448 pilgrims and ‘Dia International’ took money from 20 pilgrims.
The Ministry of Religion has written to the Ministry of Home Affairs, seeking a ban on the departure of the top officials of the two agencies.

Mentioning that those registered with the agency “are at risk of being cheated,” the letter said, “their Hajj this year may be uncertain.” In this situation, the managing director of Al Risan Travels, Abdus Salam Miah, should not be able to leave the country, and at the same time, legal action should be taken against him.’
Dia International has registered 20 Haj pilgrims under Al Iman Haj Caravan Travel and Tours, saying, “The departure of the agency’s chairman Kamrul Islam and managing director Mohammad Ali Babu should be stopped and legal action should be taken against them.”
The Ministry of Religious Affairs has directed the Hajj agencies to enter Hajj flight data on time. At the same time, agencies have been warned about taking money from pilgrims for animal sacrifices.
According to an information report, the Ministry of Religion issued these instructions after a meeting with Abdur Rahman Ghaynam, Director General of Saudi Hajj and Umrah Ministry’s Jeddah Airport Service, online on May 12.
In the meeting, it was requested to enter the flight data correctly in the Saudi e-Hajj system before starting the Hajj flight journey. Otherwise, disciplinary action will be taken against the concerned agency.
