Dhaka Bureau: Senior Joint Secretary General of BNP, Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, has called for a boycott of the polls on January 7 in the interest of the country and the nation, saying that the government has been continuously violating the constitution for the past 15 years only to retain power illegally without voting. They have twisted the constitution into a paper boat.
He made this call after distributing leaflets in front of Uttara Rajuk College in the capital on Thursday morning in favor of the election boycott and non-cooperation movement.
Rizvi said that the young generation of the country could not vote in the last three elections. Their votes have been stolen. In this way, the people of the country have become refugees by taking away their voting rights. So boycott the January 7 elections.
Rizvi also said, Do not bring danger to the country by forcefully forcing dummy and one-sided elections. Power cannot be retained by cheating the people in this way. He urged people from all walks of life to abstain from voting by taking a stand against dummy elections.
