Own Correspondent: The Bangladesh Tariqat Federation has announced the election under its own symbol without getting seats from the 14-party alliance. The Tariqat Federation will fight in the polls with the party’s own symbol of flower garland.
On Sunday, party chairman Syed Najibul Bashar Maizbhandari confirmed voting on his party symbol. He said, “The Tariqat Federation will elect 41 constituencies.”
The Awami League left a total of six seats to the partners of the 14-party alliance. However, the coalition partner, Bangladesh Tariqat Federation, did not leave any seats.
Chairman of the Tariqat Federation, Syed Najibul Bashar Maizbhandari, became a Member of Parliament from Chittagong-2 Constituency as a candidate of the 14-party alliance in the 11th election.
The constituencies left to the alliance are Kushtia-2, Bogra-4, Laxmipur-4, Barisal-2, Rajshahi-2, and Pirojpur-2.
In the Kushtia-2 constituency, Jasad President Hasanul Haque Inu will be elected. Apart from this, AKM Rezaul Karim Tansen will be elected in the Bogra-4 seat and Mosharraf Hossain in the Lakshmipur-4 seat.
Apart from this, Workers Party president Rashed Khan Menon will elect Fazle Hossain Badsha to the Barisal-2 seat and the Rajshahi-2 seat.
Anwar Hossain Manju of the Jatiya Party (JP) will be elected in the Pirojpur-2 seat with the boat symbol.
