Khagrachari Correspondent: In Khagrachari, four people, including Vipul Chakma, leader of the Prasit-led United People’s Democratic Front (UPDF), were shot dead. The deceased have been identified as Democratic Youth Forum central organizing secretary Vipul Chakma, Khagrachari district vice president Liton Chakma, PCP vice president Sunil Tripura, and UPDF member Ruhinsa Tripura.
The incident took place in the Fatehpur area of Ward No. 9 of Panchari Upazila on Monday (December 11). The organizer of UPDF, Angya Marma, confirmed the fact that this murder centered on the spread of dominance. He said, “They were killed after entering the house. At that time, two people, including the former central leader of Pahari Chhatra Parishad, Hari Kamal Tripura, were abducted.
Due to this incident, there has been panic and chaos in the area.
