Dhaka Bureau: Trinamool BNP has announced the distribution of nomination papers from November 18, welcoming the announcement of the schedule for the 12th National Parliament elections. Trinamool BNP Chairperson Shamser Mobin Chowdhury (Bir Bikram) announced this through a press conference at a hotel in Gulshan at 11:30 on Thursday (November 16).
He said the Trinamool BNP is an election-oriented party. We are preparing to participate in the 12th election. Trinamool BNP hopes and expects the 12th parliamentary elections to be peaceful and ensure transparency. Also, the security of all candidates, voters, and polling stations must be fully ensured for this election.
He also said that Trinamool BNP will start distributing the nomination papers of their candidates on November 18. The nomination fee is fixed at 5 thousand rupees. The Trinamool BNP nomination board will meet the aspirants on November 21, 22, and 23 and finalize the nomination.
Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Kazi Habibul Awal announced the date of the National Assembly elections on January 7 next year in his address to the nation on the occasion of the announcement of the schedule by the Election Commission yesterday evening. Trinamool BNP called a press conference today to give their reaction after the announcement of the schedule.
