Dhaka Bureau: Trinamool BNP has announced plans to field candidates for 300 seats in the upcoming 12th National Assembly elections. The chairman of the party, Shamsher Mubin Chowdhury, announced this in an event at the National Press Club on Wednesday (November 8).
Shamsher Mubin Chowdhury said we will participate in the next national parliament elections. I am trying to fill all 300 seats. Trinamool BNP will be governed according to party rules and policies. Private companies will not.
He said, We want to organize our party in such a way that not only politics but also solving the various problems of the people at the local level will reflect the aspirations of the people.
Stating that we believe in fair politics, the Trinamool BNP Chairperson said, We do not believe in incendiary politics. I believe in fair politics. We do not support killing politics with violence. Fair politics will be the basis of good governance. It is our demand that the election commission strictly observe the power given to it.
Before this, 35 Trinamool people from all over the country who were totally unfamiliar with politics joined the BNP. Among them are a retired judge, army officer, teacher, and lawyer.
