Dhaka Bureau: Former Home Minister and BNP Vice President Air Vice Marshal (retd) Altaf Hossain Chowdhury has been arrested by RAB. It is reported that he has been taken to the RAB headquarters for preliminary interrogation.
He was arrested from the Tongi area early on Sunday (November 5) before the start of the 48-hour siege called by the BNP in the second phase.
Altaf Hossain has been accused in multiple cases of attack, vandalism, and violence at the Chief Justice’s residence on the day of the BNP’s general meeting on October 28.
Earlier on Saturday evening, Syed Emran Saleh Prince, organizing secretary of BNP, was arrested from his sister’s house in Badda, the capital.
