International Desk: 22 journalists and media workers have been killed so far in the ongoing conflict between Palestine and Israel. This information has emerged in a report by the Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ), a global organization that is vocal about protecting the rights of journalists.
According to the report published on the CPJ website on Friday (October 20), at least 4,000 people have died in the two countries as of October 20. 22 of them are journalists.
According to the organization, “journalists are at great risk of collecting news due to devastating airstrikes, severed communication systems, and severe power shortages, including ground attacks by Israeli troops in Gaza.”
The committee says that 22 journalists have been confirmed dead. Of these, 18 are Palestinian, three are Israeli, and one is Lebanese. Besides, eight were injured and three were missing or detained, the committee said.

Israel reported that the number of people killed in the attacks and clashes with Hamas in their country exceeded 1 thousand 400, and 4 thousand 629 were injured. 363 soldiers and policemen are among the dead.
