Sports Desk: Bangladesh’s women’s cricket team created history by drawing the ODI series against India at home. The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) is happy with the performance of the women’s team. And so BCB President Nazmul Hasan Papon has announced a big bonus for Nigar-Farzans.
In total, the women cricketers are getting prize money of around 35 lakh rupees. Out of the 35 lakh tk. the women’s cricket team will get 25 lakh tk. The remaining 10 lakh tk. will be given to the cricketers who perform well. In international cricket, the first centurion of Bangladesh women’s cricket, Farzana Haque Pinki, has been awarded two lakh taka.
The BCB president told the media on Sunday (July 23), ‘We have a century. Some of the girls played great cricket. I am giving 25 lakhs for the whole team. For Centuries, plus separate money for those who perform well. In total, I think it will be 35 lakh. Praising the women cricketers, he further said, ‘I saw the game in the series. One thing we can say is that the girls tried their best against India.
There is no problem with their dedication or work style throughout the series. Many have improved their performance. It was eye-catching.’
