News Desk: In his speech June 29, 2023, at the opening ceremony of the 3rd China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo (CAETE) held in Changsha, city in central China’s Hunan province, China’s Vice President Han Zheng stated that the establishment of CAETE is an important step in cooperation with the Africa approved by President Xi Jinping of China.

The exchange of the two sides at a high level, seamlessly expanding cooperation, and reaping huge rewards, which brought benefits to the citizens of both China and Africa.
Han also said that through Chinese modernization and quality development of China, the country is prepared to present a new opportunity to Africa, to foster the deep development of actual bilateral cooperation, always deepen strategic relations with African countries, strengthen industrial and supply chain cooperation, enhance connectivity levels, promote sustainable development together, fully strengthen the development of outdoor open-up, and establish a closer community of China and Africa’s sharing fate.
China-Africa cooperation plays an important role in South-South Cooperation and international cooperation in Africa, and sets the model for the establishment of new global relations, Han added.
