The ODI World Cup draft schedule has been leaked

Sports Desk: The ODI World Cup is going to be held in India in October. With only four months to go, the ICC, or Board of Cricket in India (BCCI), has not released the final World Cup schedule yet. However, a draft schedule for the World Cup has already been leaked. The BCCI has sent a draft ODI World Cup schedule to the ICC for approval. Part of that schedule has been leaked by the popular cricket website ESPN Crininfo. From this leaked schedule, the probable dates of the India-Pakistan duel are known. Bangladesh’s match schedule is also known from the leaked schedule. According to the schedule leaked by Cricinfo, the World Cup will open on October 5 with the match between England and New Zealand, the two finalists of the 2019 World Cup.

The most high-voltage India-Pakistan match of the World Cup will be played on October 15. The venue of this match has been fixed at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Meanwhile, the venue and time of Bangladesh’s match against India and Pakistan in the group stage are also known in the leaked schedule. Bangladesh will take the field against India on October 19 in Pune. And the Tiger Army will fight against Pakistan on October 31 at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata.

According to the leaked schedule, the semi-finals of this season are going to be held on November 15 and 16. And to decide who will lift the golden trophy of the World Cup, the final will be held on November 19. The venue of the two semi-finals is not known, but the venue of the final has been decided at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
