The inquiry report recommends Boris Johnson’s removal from the House of Commons. However, the former British Prime Minister termed this investigation an attempt to remove him. CNN news.
Expressing anger, the British Prime Minister said, “These arrangements are underway to take revenge for Brexit and basically change the result of the 2016 referendum.”
Boris Johnson strongly criticized the Rishi Sunak government in a 1,000-word statement. Boris has accused the government of tax hikes and failing to properly implement Brexit.
But Boris Johnson has indicated that he will return to politics. He said, “At least at this moment I have to leave the Parliament; that’s why I am very sad.”
Last year, London’s Metropolitan Police charged Boris Johnson and then Finance Minister Rishi Sunak (now British Prime Minister) for attending a party in Downing Street during the COVID-19 lockdown. Both were fined in this incident. The incident was the first time a British prime minister was charged with breaking the law.
