Gold prices fell by Rs. 1749

Dhaka Bureau: The price of gold has decreased slightly in the country’s market. Bangladesh Jewelers Association (BAJUS) has reduced the maximum price to Tk 1749 per bari of good quality. That good-quality gold will be sold for 96 thousand 695 taka. Today, 98 thousand 444 rupees per load of gold were sold.

This information was provided in a press release signed by MA Hannan Azad, Chairman of the Bajus Price Determination and Price Monitoring Standing Committee, on Sunday (May 28). Bajus said that this new price of gold will be implemented on Monday (May 29).

According to the new prices, from Monday (May 29), 22-carat gold sold at Tk 96,695, 21-carat gold at Tk 92,321, 18-carat gold at Tk 79,140, and conventional gold at Tk 65,960 will be

Meanwhile, the price of silver has been kept unchanged. According to the category, the price of 22-carat silver has been fixed at Tk 1,715 per load, the price of 21-carat silver has been fixed at Tk 1,633, the price of 18-carat silver has been fixed at Tk 1,400, and the price of traditional silver has remained unchanged at Tk 1,050.

Today, 22-carat gold was sold at Tk 98,444, 21-carat gold at Tk 93,954, 18-carat gold at Tk 80,540, and traditional gold at Tk 67,126.
