Special Correspondent: Among the three districts of Chittagong Hill Tracts, Bandarban district is home to various armed tribal groups hidden in natural beauty and hills. Due to which, among the three hill districts, this district is the most advanced in terms of instability and instability. The party that has recently come to the fore in this unrest is the Kuki-Chin National Front or KNF. The Bangladesh government has identified them as separatists.
In Bandarban district, they also demanded the destruction of new security camps of the anti-state terrorist group Kuki-Chin National Front or KNF in the remote hilly areas of Ruma, Thanchi, Rowangchari and Lama upazilas and increased capacity of the army, BGB, RAB and police.

Last (Tuesday) two army officers were injured in an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) blast by Kuki Chin terrorists in Jarulchhari neighborhood of Ruma Upazila of Bandarban. Two soldiers were killed. On the one hand, these terrorists are attacking army patrols, and sometimes kidnapping hillbillies for money. Many mountaineers and mountain villages are fleeing due to this fear. Even though these things are going on constantly, many people do not have the courage to speak against them.
Earlier in April, eight people were killed in two-sided firing in Bandarban. Kuki-chin’s name also comes up in this clash. The KNF, however, posted the NID cards of the victims on a Facebook ID named ‘Bha Te Kuki’ and claimed that seven of their members were killed.
The common people of the hills have suffered greatly because of the Kuki-chin terrorists. These terrorists have taken away the peace and happiness of the common people of the hills. The local representatives of Bandarban believe that peace harmony and development work has stopped in the hills due to the Kuki-chin terrorists. Besides, because of them, the administration has issued a ban on tourists coming and going to the mountains. All in all, Kuki-chin terror activities in public life have stopped.
About 400 Paharis left their homes in Bandarban Sadar Upazila and moved to shelter camps due to the Kuki-chin atrocities. The Kuki-Chinese belong to the Bom community. But they are not leaving their communities. The Kuki-Chinese are not only carrying out terrorist activities themselves, they are also training the members of the militant outfit Jamaatul Ansar Fil Hindal Sharqiya.
According to local sources, the government and security forces need to take stronger measures against Kuki-chin to save the mountain. They must now be suppressed with a firm hand. If not, the condition of the mountain will worsen.
According to the leaders of Bandarban, the common people of the hills are suffering due to Kuki-Chin terrorists. These terrorists have taken away the peace and happiness of the common people of the hills. Due to terrorist activities, extortion and hostage-taking by Kuki-Chin terrorists, no development activities can be carried out in the hills at present. People are unable to live in hill villages because of Kuki-chin terrorists. They are abducting common people of hilly villages and demanding ransom. Those who do not listen to them or those who do not pay are persecuted. As a result, the common people of the hill villages are moving towards the city. The condition of the village is such that a village should have 60 families, now there are only 10 to 15 or maximum 20 families. The rest of the families are moving towards the city to save their lives.
Currently, the army has taken a tough stand against these terrorists and is conducting operations against them. The army is working to restore peace and order in the mountains.

Kidnapping people, demanding ransom. This terrorist organization is threatening to kill someone if money is not paid. Cookie-China is not leaving the small traders.
