Dozens of classified documents are believed to have been leaked through various online channels. Now they cannot be found again. But how did these documents spread with such security?
This information has been presented in a report by the British news agency BBC. The first screenshots of the documents were posted on March 1 on Discord, a social media platform popular with online gamers. They were then shared on several online discussion channels.
After engaging in an argument about the war in Ukraine on a channel, a user said, “Here are some leaked documents.” He then posted screenshots of several documents.
Someone in the channel’s chat group claimed the images were taken from another channel on Discord. They were later removed.
Bellingcat, a Netherlands-based investigative website, said some of the documents may have been posted in January or even earlier.
Leaked secret documents reveal sensational information. Members of the special forces of Western countries are secretly staying in Ukraine.
The report also said that among the leaked documents, one dated March 22 states that Ukraine has 50 UK troops, 17 Latvian troops, 15 French troops, 14 US troops, and one Dutch special forces unit. However, the document does not mention that these troops are stationed in any region of Ukraine.
